14:08:07 aka the decasia twins

We played out under one of our many alter egos last night playing tracks to accompany a screening of an old Falmouth Tourist Board film entitled Falmouth: Gem of the West filmed between 1955 and 1957. Plans to construct a set built entirely around samples from the period were scuppered by a complete lack of preparation (although we did manage to slip in topical spoken word references to the Suez Crisis and the launch of Sputnik . Yes we winged it but it worked... or so we are told. The ongoing Decasia Twins project maybe revived for the Cornwall Film Festival in November...watch this space.

31:08:07: q bar with victor malloy

Deconstructed say "The esteemed Victor Malloy joins us for DC 3.9 on August 31 2007. Victor specialises in high brow, low volume music, which suits us. His sophomore full length, "Lions and Tigers and Bears," is still available, and heartily recommended - our favourite track is the Fionn Regan tear jerker, The Girl Who Wasn't There. Listen to it here, and read our profile of Monsieur Malloy here. We did a label feature too here."

24:08:07: godolphin house

Private view gig at Godolphin House for Hidden Art Cornwall. Hopefully we'll be kicking up a Notting Hill / Good Times vibe in honour of the Bank Holiday weekend.

27:07:07 rewind
